Kenny’s Candy Company is a licorice and licorice type candy manufacturer.

 Kenny’s Candy Company is a privately held corporation founded by Ken Nelson in 1987.

Kenny’s Candy Company initially began as a supplier of Red Twists, Black Twists, Chocolate Twists, Red Bites and Black Bites to Bulk, Rebag and Private Label customers across the U.S.

In 1996, Ken Nelson felt we needed to expand our business beyond the Red, Black and Chocolate flavors that serviced only Bulk, Rebag and Private Label customers.  Ken wanted to take greater control of our future.  It was at this time that our “Juicy Twist” brand was created.

 “Juicy Twist” is a premium product line “Made With Real Fruit Juice”.  Currently, we offer 14 “Juicy Twist” flavors as everyday items.  All our “Juicy Twist” flavors are either FAT FREE or LOW FAT.

In 2007, Kenny’s Candy Company introduced four (4) flavors of "Wiley Wallaby Australian Style Soft Gourmet Liquorice" to its line up of products.

Since the initial introduction, “Juicy Twist” has grown tremendously.  Today, approximately 60% of our business is in our “Juicy Twist” brand with the remaining business being divided between Rebag and Private Label customers.

Today, Kenny’s Candy Company is part of KLN Enterprises, Inc.  KLN Enterprises, Inc. is also owned by Ken Nelson and is the parent company of Kenny’s Candy Company, Barrel O’ Fun Snack Foods and Tuffy’s Pet Foods.  You can learn more about all our companies at www.klnenterprises.com

All three (3) companies manufacturing, warehouse and headquarter facilities are located in Perham, Minnesota 56573 USA.  Perham, Minnesota is a beautiful community located in the heart of lake country in West Central Minnesota.

All three (3) companies run independently of each other.  However, we share many corporate assets (Senior Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Safety, etc.).

Kenny’s Candy Company operates out of a 52,000 sq. ft. facility with 95 dedicated employees.

Kenny’s Candy Company is AIB certified (with an excellent rating), OU Kosher Pareve certified and ICS Farm Verified Organic certified.
